River is honored to live and work in Richmond, CA. They are passionate about rehydrating dry landscapes of California in the face of climate change, through process-based creek restoration, beaver coexistence work, and nature-based solutions. They are a video artist and musician who is obsessed with this beautiful planet and its people. You can often find them near a body of water with their friends, whom they love.

They believe that care is the antidote to violence, and that our people deserve so much better.
